Premises Architect Engineer

SRC Infrastructure has been providing project management and engineering-based advisory, consultancy and managed services solutions to UK infrastructure clients for over 20 years. We are a small to medium sized company that has built a strong reputation delivering multi-disciplinary projects and programmes for private and public sector clients. Job Summary Job introduction and summary. · Day-to-day, you will be involved in the development of premises engineering solutions to a variety of our clients projects within the rail industry, from concept to construction. · Producing detailed design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. · Collaborating with key stakeholders, including asset owners, maintainers, and project teams. · The role offers a great opportunity to join successful, established teams and work alongside some of the best engineers on a wide variety of major projects across the UK’s rail industry. · The role includes all aspects of technical delivery, work winning and client engagement. · Our ideal candidate is adaptable, pragmatic and passionate about delivering solutions that will enable our clients to deliver better infrastructure within the rail industry. · Planning and coordinating multiple projects to meet key delivery milestones. · Scope and supervise on site surveys and inspections to assess projects. · Supporting the development of the team by mentoring junior engineers, sharing technical expertise, and contributing through strategic input and knowledge sharing. Essential Criteria · Degree in Architecture, Engineering (Bsc, MSc or MEng) or equivalent · Strong interpersonal and communication skills to an excellent written and verbal skills standard. · Excellent attention to detail. · Good understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant British Standards. · Good understanding of materials. · Expertise in railway and built environments, with an understanding of products, installation methods, and construction practices. · Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills. · 5+years’ post-graduate experience in Architectural/ Premises Engineering. · Has a strong desire to exceed expectations and deliver work to the highest of standards. · Computer literate and good experience of computer software programs such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
