You'll be managing a small team and be responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of procurement programmes, ensuring regulatory and governance compliance, and a clear audit trail for all procurement activity.

As Head of Procurement, your responsibilites will include:

  • Delivery of compliant & timely procurement activity through streamlining and innovation of company procurement processes.
  • Coordinating the activity of technical, marketing, finance and IT stakeholders to meet the deadlines of all programmes.
  • Liaising with regional procurement managers to continuously improve the development and delivery of company products.

As Head of Procurement, you'll be require:

  • Proven experience of working as a procurement professional delivering complex construction and building maintenance programmes within the public sector
  • Experience of preparing, publishing and reviewing documentation subject to public scrutiny (e.g. OJEU, PCR)
  • Knowledge of contractual frameworks, legislative and statutory requirements relating to property, construction and procurement
  • Experience of developing multi-user, multi-supplier frameworks.
  • Developing and presenting strategic business cases and plans to key stakeholders.
  • MCIPS or Degree Level Education
