Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Programmer for our client in Long Eaton. They are the leading provider of high-quality educational equipment for engineering disciplines. The company’s laboratory products are used by students and educators across the world. An employee-owned trust has been set up that puts the employees in the driving seat of managing the company’s future.
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced CNC Miller to join our clients busy and highly motivated team on a permanent contract.
The work is varied, interesting and demanding and they expect high standard for quality and performance.
With a time served background you will be expected to manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium components on our HAAS and Hurco CNC Milling machines.
You will require a good practical knowledge of CNC machining.
You will join the manufacturing department, ensuring that quality standards are met on all components, by following company processes, and procedures.
This particular client pride themselves on delivering an excellent quality of finish and it is therefore imperative that you have great attention to detail and work to an exceptionally neat standard.

~ Overtime rate is time and a half

Programming, setting and operating 3 axis Haas or Hurco CNC Milling Machines within a low volume, small batch environment
Ensure manufactured parts are produced in the most efficient manner
Programming, setting and operating experience of CNC Milling machinery – preferably HAAS or Hurco Machines
CNC Milling experience within a similar hi-tech environment – ideally apprentice trained
An enthusiastic team player with a can-do/flexible attitude
A willingness to help in other areas of the factory should the demand arise
Manual and/or CNC Turning experience
Immediate starts are available
Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
