Head of Regeneration

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Head of Regeneration on a 4 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Job purpose:

• To provide strategic leadership to the Regeneration Service.
• To lead the development, implementation, management and delivery of complex regeneration/capital programmes (programmes are estimated as c £6billion and projects across.
• Take responsibility for managing the “Client Lead” role on regeneration programmes across.
• Manage relationships with all stakeholders and partners including the community, elected Members, businesses and public sector partners and developers/contractors.
• Ensure regeneration programmes and projects are managed within allocated budgets and to agreed service standards.
• Lead and manage relevant Programme Boards and any individual project managers and commissioned partners. Manage the relationship across client’s directorates in order to ensure adequate resources are allocated to support delivery of projects and work programmes.
• Ensure consultant teams are managed effectively across all regeneration programmes and projects.
• To lead and manage budgets across the service.
• To work closely with the senior leadership team and Assistant Director to support the transformation agenda and improve practices across the service.
