Position: Early Careers Science Teacher

Location: Romford, Essex

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Sector: Education and Training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging science lessons that inspire students to explore the wonders of the natural world.
  • Utilizing creative teaching methods and resources to make complex scientific concepts accessible and relevant to learners.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enrich the science curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular science clubs and activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
  • Be committed to the Education and Training of a diverse student base.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining QTS.
  • Passion for science education and a commitment to fostering a culture of curiosity and inquiry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to professional development.
