As a 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist, you will support a Y3 pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour and attachment disorder. You will aslo be responsible for ensuring he remains on task within the classroom. This is a full time role and long term until the end of the academic year at least. Responsibilities: Offering support to Y3 pupil on a 1:1 basis within and outside of the classroom. Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing challenging behaviour. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the pupil. Providing guidance and support to the pupil, ensuring their welfare is protected. Requirements: Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or working with challenging behaviour. Reliability and stability for the pupil. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. A caring and nurturing personality. A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. A valid DBS check. This is a term-time only role, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a role with more flexibility to balance work and childcare commitments.
