Purpose of the role:

As Buying & Merchandising Coordinator, you will support the buying and merchandising functions so that they effectively plan our buying and trading of stock.

You will help ensure stock and new launch allocations in both Retail and Digital channels are maintained at ideal levels.

You'll work closely with the wider product team to support the smooth running of business-critical path and timely launch of stock in store.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Allocations and Replenishment
Track inbound stock against PO Contractual Delivery date, chasing late deliveries with Production team and flagging delivery concerns to line manager
Work weekly with PO Commitment report and Production team, closing off short shipments and open historical PO's
Create launch pack Allocation Plans, working with range intake dates and communicating clearly to both regional team and logistics ahead of allocation
Weekly update and communication of Launch Tracker and PO Tracker
Check Daily Replen volume accuracy for all stores against sales
Oversee manual allocations (Buyers Push) where required to support in store requirements/ store requests communicated Thursday for allocation Friday where possible
Weekly review of digital stock against channel performance and pushing stock to retail out of threshold rules where required. (Focus on HTI/US)
Correctly set up and maintain both Seasonal and Continuity min/max rules.
New store packaging with Line Manager when required
Liaise with Logistics, Retail Operations, Regional Managers and Stores, as well as other departments to ensure a smooth delivery of stock through the critical path
Uploading of new ranges and review of Patest with digital team ahead of product going live

Consolidations
Set and drive seasonal consolidation plan for both inter-store and End-Season consolidations
Sign off inter-store consolidations with line manager with focus on driving range performance, profitability and cost-savings measures in the business
Communicate consolidation plans to Retail Operations, Store Teams and Logistics and track inbound stock and making live to trade in line with business requirements

Trading
Set new prices and selling statuses in line with company trading requirements and line manager markdown/ trading plan
Work with Merchandising in setting up new season line numbers and items on BC
Run weekly channel trade reports, daily stock keeping and Monday trade requirements to support team trade
Attend weekly retail meetings and regional meetings acting as liaison between product and retail

What you'll need:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an allocators position, ideally within fashion or a lingerie-based retailer
Demonstrable experience with allocations and a stock trade/planning environment
High Computer Literacy
Methodical, Accurate, Logical and Concise approach to work with high levels of attention to detail
Excellent communications skills
Organised, punctual and able to step up and work under pressure to deadline
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Ability to adapt and manage through change
Positive, proactive and confident
Receptive and flexible to change
Highly resourceful and organised
Friendly, pleasant and outgoing manner
Demonstrate high levels of resilience and flexibility to changing requirements/needs of the business
