A Tier One Technology Consultancy seeks a highly ambitious and technically astute AWS Data Engineer to help design, build and deploy cloud-based data solutions - transforming raw data into actionable insights that inspire ingenuity.

Boasting a vast network of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients, the Group specialises in executing complex technology-driven transformation projects across eight core industry verticals: Consumer and manufacturing, Defence and security, Energy and utilities, Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Transport.

Design and deploy data pipelines in big data architecture using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.
Execute tasks involving scripting, API data extraction, and SQL queries.
Proficient in data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting.
Specialised in AWS cloud technologies for ETL, data warehouse, and data lake design.
Hands-on experience with AWS services like EMR, Glue, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB.
Capable of processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data on AWS.
Familiarity with AWS best practices in data engineering, data science, and product development.
Comfortable designing and building for AWS cloud, including Platform-as-a-Service, server-less, and container technologies.
Diverse skills in ETL, data warehouse, and Data Lake design.
Expertise in AWS or equivalent open-source tools.
Proficient in defining the end-to-end software development lifecycle aligned with AWS best practices.
