As an Area Event Lead, you will organise first aid cover for public events as diverse as football matches, and concerts. Events all involve challenges in terms of getting the right people and equipment to the right place at the right time.

You will be part of a team, reporting to a District Events Lead and Events Delivery Manager while partnering with Unit Managers & Area Managers who manage SJA locally.

Responsible for co-ordinating operational delivery of events within their allocated areas in liaison with the District Event Lead and Regional Events Team.

Responsible for ensuring event operational delivery is delivered to a high standard.

Ensuring events within their allocated areas are appropriately resourced (personnel, equipment and fleet) liaising with District Management Teams and District Functional Teams To support and lead on event planning meetings.

Assist in the motivation and retention of volunteers within their designated area, particularly relating to operational delivery at events.

To form part of the District On-Call team.
