Bacon’s College was established in the Surrey Docks peninsula in Rotherhithe, South East London in 1991 as a City Technology College, becoming an academy in 2007 and joined the United Learning Trust in 2018. Bacon’s has long been an important part of the fabric of the local community in south east London and has served the community in its various forms for over three hundred years. We are proud of that history and contribution and of the way the College has evolved and adapted to meet the needs of its young people.

Contract: Permanent, 37.Bacon’s College is home to the United Learning South East London Cluster. The Cluster staff serve four United Learning schools: Bacon’s College, Sedgehill Academy, The John Roan School and Connisborough College. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR administrative duties including but not limited to recruitment, safeguarding checks, absence management, and payroll administration. You will have a friendly and polite manner and will enjoy the opportunity to engage with staff across the four schools. Outstanding interpersonal skills are essential in support of building excellent relationships with staff at all levels, whilst always ensuring that safeguarding practices for a safer workforce are consistently applied and monitored. You will have the ability to input data accurately as well as to produce reports for the senior leadership team and governors as needed.
