Are you a skilled IT Security Operations Engineer looking for a challenging role where you can develop, implement, and maintain cutting-edge security solutions? This position reports to the Global Technology Operations Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring the global estate remains protected from both new and existing threats.

You will deliver a best-in-class service, enhancing the security operations and contributing to the overarching technology strategy.

Your responsibilities as an IT Security Operations Engineer:

* Develop and enhance the company’s security posture, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across all departments.

* Design and implement monitoring solutions to detect security incidents across the global estate, promptly responding to and resolving these issues.

* Manage and optimise existing security tools including , endpoint, and network security, as well as on-prem and cloud applications.

* Collaborate with external security suppliers to manage outsourced security services effectively.

* Lead security initiatives such as penetration testing, security training, and threat intelligence gathering to strengthen organizational security awareness and defenses.

* Innovate and automate processes to improve threat mitigation and system resilience, continually updating security policies and practices.

Your current experience which will help you as an IT Security Operations Engineer:

* A minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering, with a degree in ICT or a related field, or equivalent experience.

* Expertise in deploying and managing enterprise-level security technologies such as IAM, EDR, cloud security, and vulnerability management.

* Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure/365 security environments and networking fundamentals, including firewalls.

* Experience with incident response, and familiarity with security and risk management frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.

* Proven ability to work independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of performing under pressure.

* Excellent communication skills, with a passion for continual learning and improvement in the field of IT security.
