My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive team based in Hull. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and a keen interest in hydrology, hydraulic modelling and water quality. Candidates are required to live locally and have a keen interest in flood risk and drainage. As a Graduate Consultant you will join a supportive Engineering Team based in Hull. You will be trained to complete;

  • Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
  • Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap
  • Rainfall Analysis
  • Water Quality Assessments
  • Drainage Modelling using Causeway and Microdrainage
  • GIS Mapping
  • Drainage Strategies
  • Site visits and site walkovers occasionally.
