Enso Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to find a talented Data Scientist. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement machine learning models and statistical tools to solve complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Develop tools and scripts for predictive modelling and machine learning applications.
  • Integrate both internal and external data sources to improve the accuracy of models and the impact on the business.
  • Communicate technical findings and methodologies to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to continuously improve solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data science role, applying methods like Gradient Boosting Machines (GBMs), deep learning, GLMs, or graph mining.
  • Degree (2:1 or higher) in mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, R, or equivalent languages.
  • Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience handling large datasets using SQL, NoSQL, or big data platforms like Hadoop.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex problems effectively.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in leading and managing data science or analytics projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Previous experience in deploying data science models into production environments.
