Senior Estimator - Danny Sullivan Group

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator for a role with a specialist ground engineering contractor operating across the UK. They are looking for experienced candidates with a strong track record in delivering on ground engineering and piling contracts for major civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Taking ownership of opportunities from receipt of the enquiry and up to handover with the delivery team
  2. Collaborating with the in-house engineering and delivery teams to develop appropriate tender proposals
  3. Participating in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) stages of prospective projects
  4. Design coordination on D&B contracts
  5. Estimating works and producing work-winning tender submissions
  6. Presenting geotechnical solutions to potential clients
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in the specialist ground engineering field
  • Solid understanding of geotechnical principles
  • Previous experience in estimating piling/slope stabilisation/ground anchoring/grouting packages
  • Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues, prospective clients, external consultants, specialists, and other industry professionals
  • Experience in estimating from first principles

They will be offering a competitive salary, company car/allowance/travel, 8% matched pension contributions, private healthcare, life assurance, etc. The role will have the flexibility to work remotely and to touch base at one of the company's regional offices periodically when needed.
