Receive information on scope of works, site rules including Permit to Work arrangements, arrangements for safety, environment, welfare, security, access and emergencies.
Conduct pre-start Site Risk Assessment and report unsafe conditions. 
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. 
Control of work on site including site safety risk assessment (pre-start and ongoing) and to take reasonable care for the health & safety of themselves and of those who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
Report accidents, incidents, near misses, complaints, and recommended actions. 
Communicate with Commissioning Department Head where plans cannot be achieved. Provide services as per training, instruction and Standard Operating Procedures. 
Control and maintenance of site records.
Prompt submission of work reports, risk assessments and work sheets in accordance with agreed SLA.
Check equipment through pre-use checks and maintenance.
Report the loss or theft of equipment immediately to the Company and to the police if required. 
Ensure that all Rock Compliance equipment including all hire equipment is removed from site or made secure on site & / or suitable arrangements made for collection. Signed collection notes for all equipment, materials, and tools whether hired, borrowed or returned must be obtained in order to pass on responsibility. 
Knowledge to work safely on mechanical systems
Understand the inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures for the range of electrical services undertaken
Computer literacy a benefit. 
Knowledge to work safely on electrical systems.
A full clean driving license is required
You may be required to travel around your region with the need for an occasional overnight stay
