As a Service Technician at Edwards & Farmer Ltd you’ll play a crucial part in providing and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service whilst working with our industry-leading manufacturers & suppliers.
Prior experience in the repair and maintenance of agricultural tractors and equipment, coupled with a thorough understanding of modern farm equipment technologies is essential for this role.
Maintenance and repairs on and off-site both tractors & machinery completed to a high standard.
* Assembly & PDI of new machines to the correct specification.
* To be competent in fault finding on Engines, Hydraulics, & Electrical issues using the latest diagnostic equipment.
* Undertaking relevant manufacturer training as & when required – giving you the opportunity to develop your skills & knowledge of the latest products & services on the market.
* Ensures prompt and accurate completion of all necessary reports and administrative tasks, including job cards and time sheets, maintaining a high standard of quality.
* Ensures a tidy and organised workshop environment, actively contributes to overall workshop organisation, and promotes the proper utilization of tools and vehicles at all times.
* Weekend rota with retainer
Experience working on Agricultural Machinery and Equipment using diagnostic tools & equipment and referral to manufacturer service portals & books.
* Skilled & knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems
* Exceptional customer service approach
* Full UK driving licence
* Certificated Manufacturer Training
