The new hire will focus their time on Private Equity transactions in UK, Europe and globally, having acquired between 2-4 years' relevant post qualification experience from a top tier PE practice in the London market, or other Common Law jurisdiction.

The suitable candidate will possess the desire and attributes to take on a high degree of responsibility and to manage a challenging workload. A willingness to get involved in marketing, knowhow and pro-bono initiatives is also sought, in addition to a strong academic background.

The firm has a sophisticated training programme, which includes both in-house and external seminars and training sessions. Lawyers are provided with on-the-job training and constructive real-time partner feedback. The formal training programme includes:

  • Regular private equity team meetings.
  • Regular corporate know-how meetings.
  • Weekly and monthly training seminars and workshops for all levels, covering legal topics relevant to the firm's practice areas and skills. (These are presented by partners and associates and external specialists, KCs and other professionals).
  • Live video-links to seminars presented across the firm's network of offices.

A number of pro-bono opportunities are also available to lawyers through the pro-bono programme.
