Mid Level Backend Developer - NodeJS & PHP.
UK-based role (* fully remote) . An opportunity to join a US-based leading provider of dynamic intelligence and advisory services for corporate value. Their Technical/ Development function is growing, and they are looking to recruit a mid-level Developer (min 2+ years) to work predominantly on their Backend and CMS.
The Backend Developer will work on their website, which delivers information on distressed and/or bankrupt companies to various clients.
The website runs on Kubernetes clusters deployed to cloud providers using: Angular 18 for the front-end; and back-end services implemented in Node JS and PHP.
A CMS built around Vanilla JavaScript with a PHP backend.
MySQL and #Manticore databases with extensive use of external APIs and some web scraping.
A minimum of two years (+) experience in Node JS and/or PHP.
Good knowledge of working with SQL databases — preferably #MySQL/Maria;
Good knowledge of using vanilla JavaScript for front ends.
Worked with external systems to collect data from #APIs, feeds and web scraping.
We have been using various forms of AI in the last few years and are always looking for new solutions.
Ability to work remotely.
