THE ROLE

The Construction Insurance team isseeking a lawyer to join the team in London.

The team is partof the firm's Insurance Group and has a well-established client base,acting for the vast majority of Professional Indemnity insurers in themarket as well as many of the UK's largest contractors andconstruction consultancies, both on joint and direct instructions.

They handle a wide variety of claims against variousconstruction related professionals including engineers, architects,quantity surveyors, project managers, design and build contractors andsurveyors.


The role largely involves defending liabilityclaims both pre and post litigation, but the team also provides advice/ representation on associated matters such as adjudication,disciplinary proceedings, arbitration and risk management.

Theteam is also frequently asked to advise insurers on policy coverageaspect of claims.

THE CANDIDATE

You will have theopportunity to work with a number of partners and lawyers within avibrant and growing team which is top ranked for ProfessionalNegligence in the legal directories.


With 2-5PQE youshould have construction litigation experience; experience ofinsurance is desirable but not essential.
