Pipe Welder

Typically, this person will a Welder/Pipefitter HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business. Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Welder/Pipefitter:

• Willing to undertake welding procedure testing as well as welder qualification testing.
• MMA and flux core experience is an advantage although not essential.
• Travel where required.
• Other adhoc duties

Qualifications and requirements requested for the Welder/Pipefitter:

• We are currently recruiting for a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team across the Solent. Based primarily between our Portsmouth and Southampton sites with possibility to travel to other sites when required.
• The successful candidate will be an experienced TIG Welder working with carbon steel pipe, 6g and 6g restricted to x-ray standards. Other materials an advantage.
• Tig.
• Carbon Steel.

• MMA.

• Flux Core.
• 6G & 6G Restricted.
• Must have NVQ Level 3 or Apprentice trained (have the paperwork to prove it.
• They will need to be able to weld to X Ray Standards.
• Marine would be an advantage but would look at Petro Chemical.
