Monitoring Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to own customer and internal requests around monitoring configuration and troubleshooting and ensuring the appropriate actions are taken to design, develop, implement and monitor configuration for new and existing customers.

As a Monitoring Engineer you will…

Manage the day to day administration of our monitoring tools, specifically LogicMonitor. Monitor the configuration for a wide range of customer devices and technologies, provide continuous improvements of Comms-Care monitoring service to ensure the best possible proactive service while minimising the number of unnecessary alerts.

In order to set you up for success we are looking for the following skills;

* Experience with LogicMonitor configuration and administration

* Extensive experience with monitoring configuration of network devices

* Previous experience of other monitoring tools

* Experience with custom monitoring solution development (API calls, PowerShell, SQL)

* Experience with Windows, Linux and Cloud (Azure, AWS) system monitoring and administration

* Experience working in managed services environments

* LogicMonitor LMCA, LMCP or LMCD certification

* Cisco certification (e.g. CCNA)
