Job ID: 2612857 | Amazon UK Services Ltd. - As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will play an instrumental role in guiding managers across a range of central functions, from logistics to customer service and beyond, and addressing challenges with high potential for innovation across the business. From leading a team to implementing long-term plans, you will be an integral part of our future innovation, helping us continually redefine and offer the best customer experience.
Engage senior stakeholders and managers and regularly update them on the progress of key programmes
Carry out team and organisational reviews and assess key performance metrics
Define data-led approaches to products and ways of working
As we move forward with our plans, Senior Supply Chain Managers help organise and direct our efforts so that programme milestones and key deliverables are met. You’ll also play an active role in defining scope for complex programmes and initiatives, and you’ll present your analysis and recommendations to Directors and Vice Presidents to inform change at the most senior level.
You’ll manage a team of Programme and Project Managers who will work alongside a variety of tech, operations, and business stakeholders to drive business-critical programmes. Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. Relevant experience in driving significant change management initiatives at all levels of a department, including creating business strategy and planning
- Relevant experience in communicating and presenting papers to multi-level stakeholders and senior management
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English
