Role: Computer Science Teacher

A leading independent school in Cambridge are seeking an engaging and excellent Computer Science Teacher from September 2024. This is a part time role, but hours can be increased if the successful applicant can offer Mathematics or even a Science.

This independent school is set in a great location and was rated outstanding in all areas in its most recent ISI report. Facilities are world class and staff are given the resources to deliver inspiring and stimulating lessons. Through teaching of the highest calibre, pupils are encouraged to think for themselves, challenge conventional theories and pursue their own enthusiasms. A growth mindset philosophy of education is also instilled at this independent school.

Whilst academic and all round excellence is pursued, the Head recognises the importance of creating a supportive family atmosphere. The school's Christian ethos encourages pupils to develop a lasting sense of moral and social responsibility. The school's house system provides a caring pastoral environment in which pupils learn to consider the rights and needs of their peers.

The Head is seeking a excellent classroom practitioner of Computer Science to teach this specialist subject across the Senior School up to A level. You will have experience of teaching Computer Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and want to involve yourself in the wider life of the school. The role is part time, but can be full time or close to if the successful candidate can offer Maths or Science as well.
