Job Description

My client is seeking a Director, or Senior Manager with potential for promotion to Director within 12 months, to join their pharma and life sciences consultancy team.

They are looking for someone adept in the fast-paced consultancy environment with strong experience in consultancy, medicines access, and reimbursement. This includes expertise in health technology appraisal (HTA) and other commercial aspects impacting medicines access. They are a rapidly growing boutique advisory firm at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

About the role: The role involves leading various clients and projects within the pharma division. Responsibilities include providing strategic advice and technical knowledge in the medicines access space to support companies in bringing their innovative products to market. This entails advising clients on market access changes and trends, conducting policy analysis, and engaging in health technology appraisal activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Launch Accelerator offer.
  • Providing market access support for specific assets, including delivering standalone support for assets undergoing HTA.
  • Managing client accounts, implementing client programs, and handling day-to-day client activities.
  • Overseeing and managing the work of junior team members on specific projects, including their training and development needs.
  • Identifying and supporting business development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in relevant fields such as medicines access, commercialization, or procurement.
  • Give advice regarding key stakeholders, such as where they may have an impact on successful access, reimbursement and uptake strategies.
  • Knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape and a demonstrated interest in health innovation and life sciences.
