Sign Maker Required Northampton Based Company Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right candidate Monday to Friday working with an early finish Friday We are looking for a Sign Maker to join our client who are an established family business within the sign making industry. Reporting to the Works Manager / Assistant Works Manager, you will be part of the manufacturing team making signs for their clients About the role As a sign maker you will be involved in the manufacturing and assembling stages of the process. You will be working within a team where the main aspects of the role are the following Preparation work Notching ( Metal sheet cutting) Folding Wrapping Guillotining Welding and Fabrication work.Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will come from a sign manufacturing, manufacturing (Non food) shop fitting or fabrication background. You will have experience in the following Brake Press Machine CNC Router Machines Various hand and power tools Welding and Fabrication Grinders Sanding Machines Have a good eye for detail Be able to read from technical drawings or specifications Be willing to learn and show flexibility Be a team player with good time keeping.A full driving licence will also required as you may be asked to assist with local deliveries to customers. A maximum of 6 points is allowed but no drink, drug or insurance driving convictions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain a new trade or expand on an existing trade.
