Are you a Junior Planner who is looking for the next step in your career? This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading Regional Contractors in the North West who have a healthy order book for the future. They are an established and respected contractor who take pride in the quality of their developments and have a number of repeat clients across Lancashire & Greater Manchester. Due to their continued success and growth within the business they are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team in Lancashire. Areas of expertise include the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Leisure with projects valued anywhere between £5m - £50m. The role - Junior Planner As a Junior Planner you will be responsible for assisting with the planning function on medium to large tenders which will involve a complex and detailed analysis of large volumes of information. Ensuring that the optimum sequence to deliver the project is reflected in the program and to assist and work within the Pre-Construction team. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with producing a full project program for site, tenders or pre-qualification to identify a critical path, float, risk and opportunity. Ensure full consideration is given to all restrictions. Assist with investigations and report their projected outcomes. Collaborate with other company staff to ensure that the works are planned and organised. Assist with determining the requirements for the site set up and help with preparing phasing, logistics and time slices along with associated methodologies as required. Help with identifying requirements for temporary works and liaise with temporary works coordinators on site. Obtain quotes for 4D construction simulation and liaise with specialists to produce simulations for tenders/interviews. What's on offer?
