Job Description

Trinity House Group is retained to recruit a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join a rapidly growing privately owned company on the verge of a significant transformation. With the successful integration of two acquisitions and a strong track record of organic growth, they are now poised for even greater success as they navigate through a change of ownership process led by Private Equity investors. As they embark on this journey, I am seeking an experienced and visionary CTO to lead their technological evolution.

As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s technology landscape. You will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy roadmap that aligns with their business objectives and accelerates their growth trajectory. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic vision and the ability to drive change in a dynamic environment.

CTO Role:

  • Take ownership of the design and execution of the company's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals (in house and outsourced), fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the integration of disparate teams resulting from mergers, acquisitions and organizational changes, fostering a cohesive and high-performing IT department.
  • Implement improvements to infrastructure and cyber security, ensuring the integrity, scalability and reliability of the firms technology systems.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess technological risks and opportunities, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all matters related to technology, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.

CTO Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing IT strategies in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading technological transformations, including changes in ownership, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to embrace change and drive results.
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure and cyber security, with a track record of implementing best practices and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

CTO Package:

  • £110,000 base
  • £6,000 car allowance
  • £20% bonus
