Dutiesand Responsibilities Of The Compliance Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this innovative team, as an Engineer providing product compliance documentation for the company automation based products sold on the European Market. A major part of the role will include monitoring EU Directives and regulations eg EMC, LVD, ATEX, PED, REACH, RoHS, MD for updates and changes, as well as the EU Official Journal and UK Government websites. The role will involve working as part of the larger Team by collaborating with Engineers in other groups within the company, European subsidiaries and their head office in Japan. Part of the role will require training to become an internal auditor, carrying out internal audits under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
To be successful in this Compliance Engineer role, you must have:
A degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
Experience of technical report writing
The ability to occasionally travel to Europe
Good knowledge of Microsoft office
