Job specification- Commissioning Engineer
  1. Key Responsibilities:
    1. Completion of in-house testing
    2. When required, on-site cold commissioning
    3. Provide support to service commissioning with regards to cold commissioning and testing
    4. When deemed necessary, involvement in FAT Testing
    5. Compile test schedule, complete testing, and test documentation
    6. Provide support and feedback to engineering department
  2. Skills:
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team
    • Proactive and ability to make decisions quickly
    • Results-orientated
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
    • IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft suite programs
    • Background in electrical switchgear
    • Electrical testing experience
    • Familiar with producing Technical Reports
    • Experience in the fundamentals of electrical switchgear, its operation, maintenance, and fault finding
  3. Education/Qualifications
    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Working hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
Friday: 8am-1pm
Flexible
