We are recruiting for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist for Echocardiography who will share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.


The Echocardiography service offers inpatient and outpatient services for TTE's, ACHD, TAVI and Oncology, as well as consultant led TOE, exercise, and pharmacological stress echo service.


One full-time (37.5 hours) post and one part-time (18.To work as a highly specialist practitioner across the range of echo procedures performed in the Department of Cardiac Investigation and to provide operational management support to the Senior Chief CP for the specified area within Cardiac Investigations.

~ Be involved in supervision and training of other cardiac physiologists.


~ Monitor and maintain quality of services within echocardiography.


~ Be willing to develop further highly technical specialist and advanced practical skills in complex echo service.


~ Participate in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring the smooth running of a quality service.


~ To provide teaching and support, to all members of the department and medical staff who are learning technical cardiology.


~ To actively encourage and develop a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care.
