  • establish and lead a team of customer facing data centre technicians - triaging tickets, scheduling work, providing training and support.
  • manage customer projects, communication, and relationships.
  • provide hands on support and trouble shooting related to network connectivity, server hardware, and s/ware apps.
  • serve as technical escalation point for complex issues.
  • manage documentation through ticketing system.
  • conduct regular audits of the data centre infrastructure and maintain inventory levels related to cabling, equipment, racks and PDUs.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • at least 5 years' experience working in a technical support role in a data centre environment.
  • deep knowledge of networking principles, server hardware, operating systems (Linux/Windows) and virtualisation technologies.
  • strong leadership, communication (written and verbal) and customer facing skills.
  • experience with customer support tools and systems, such as ticketing systems, monitoring tools and remote support technologies.
