Business Operations Coordinator (Women’s RWC England 2025 LOC)

FIXED-TERM CONTRACT UNTIL OCTOBER 2025

Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament. World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event. Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. We are looking to appoint a Business Operations Coordinator within the RWC 2025 LOC, based in Twickenham, to support the Business Operations team and report into the RWC 2025 Programme Manager.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Support meeting through scheduling, the preparation of agendas, and drafting of minutes
  2. Draft, raise and track invoices for the Business Operations Team
  3. Responsible for management of databases and tracking of approval processes of key documents
  4. Work with the Programme Manager to track task completion and manage dependencies
  5. Prepare regular reports to inform decision making processes
  6. Support administrative activities in the office environment
Experience & knowledge you’ll need:
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work with diverse stakeholders to meet task objectives
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly computer literate, with the ability to adapt to new systems
  • A proactive and independent approach to task completion, including effective prioritization of tasks
  • An ability to work with complicated documents, tracking changes and identifying any errors
Nice to Haves:
  • Previous experience in SAP or other similar invoicing system
  • An understanding of project management and risk management principles
