What you’ll be doing as a People Data Analytics Specialist
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
Analyse and document data sources, data structure, and data quality considerations.
Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
Develop data models, measures, and calculations to provide actionable insights using DAX, and SQL.
Implement dynamic filters, slicers, and drill-down capabilities for enhanced user experience.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
Conduct thorough testing to validate data accuracy and performance.
Identify and implement strategies to improve Power BI report performance and responsiveness.
Optimize SQL queries and database indexes to enhance overall system performance.
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid
Significant work experience in Power BI and SQL
Strong proficiency in SQL database design principles
Substantial experience in data analysis and data modelling
Experience with Power BI RLS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable
Competitive salary from £35,000 to £43,000 per annum
Annual Leave- 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays)
Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution
