What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of engineers and technicians
  • Maintain all plant equipment to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and site Engineers on plant improvements
  • Plan and manage plant outages
  • Manage the maintenance department's budget
  • Develop out-of-hours maintenance cover arrangements

What we want from you:

  • HNC qualification in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, etc.)
  • Health and safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred)
  • Supervisory or management experience in a power station or heavy process environment
  • Strong knowledge of pressure systems safety regulations (PSSR)
  • Experience with rotating plant and steam boilers
  • Knowledge of environmental permits and H&S issues
  • Budget management experience
