Quality Engineer Locations: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time and Onsite working Intro and role outline: To implement & control quality policies, procedures, and documentation within the production environment to establish conformance to customer specifications and to support production on all quality-related issues. Compile and report daily/weekly/monthly figures Manage PPAP process, including new product and new tooling submissions Maintain a visible shop floor presence to advise and motivate staff Write and maintain visual standards Manage hold system Manage customer and internal issues, including quality alerts and raising 8D reports Measurement approve and fault find CMM/Dimensional checks Issue engineering change requests (SCR) internally and to customers Control and manage internal audits (system/product/process & layered audits to schedule) Establish good working partnerships with customers and conduct customer liaison visits Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related issues 8D reporting, fault finding, and root cause analysis Manage internal audit system Chair internal quality meetings Control NAV system booking rejects, purchase orders, etc. Report quality issues and actions with Shift/Team leaders from each department Lead cross-functional teams in data gathering on continuous improvement items and complaint issues based on the 8D/five whys format to ensure permanent corrective actions Champion safe working practices to protect the health and safety of all employees Qualifications / Experience: Degree or equivalent experience Previous quality experience or qualification would be an advantage Background in quality within a volume manufacturing environment Full understanding of quality processes and procedures IATF 16949 / ISO9001 internal/lead auditor certified If this vacancy is of interest, do not hesitate to apply
