The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our organization’s UK health and safety initiatives. As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees, clients, and visitors across all 70+ office locations. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing robust health and safety practices, fostering a safety-conscious culture, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Day to day duties
  1. Further develop and implement health and safety policies, processes, and procedures across our UK offices.
  2. Collaborate with national, regional, and local office teams to implement consistent safety practices.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the office Health & Safety Champions, developing their H&S knowledge and confidence when managing H&S in their offices.
  4. Review and improve appropriate H&S training material for new starters, as well as existing staff refresher training.
  5. Review risk assessments and recommend/implement any additional preventive measures required.
  6. Oversee H&S compliance reviews and fire risk assessment reviews and follow up with local offices to ensure all actions are completed.
  7. Work collaboratively with the property/facilities team to ensure H&S compliance.
  8. Monitor compliance with health and safety policies and legal requirements.
  9. Provide expert guidance on safety matters to senior management.
  10. Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement.
  11. Provide regular H&S KPI performance updates for senior management.
What are we looking for?

Proven experience in health and safety management at a national or multi-site level. In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
