Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Oxford who are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their Business Services team.

Perfect for an ACA/ ACCA Qualified individual working in general practice seeking continued professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

You will gain exposure to an impressive client base from a broad range of industry sectors, providing accounts and tax services, and more advisory work as the role develops.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Review of VAT Returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Mentoring junior staff
Client meetings
Liaising with HMRC
Dealing with client queries

You:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (ideally)
Part Qualified/ MAAT also considered
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 standards (ideally)
UK practice experience is essential
Knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero & Quickbooks is beneficial
