Role Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Executry Paralegal to join our client's team at their offices in Fife. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of executry matters, ensuring a high standard of service and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of executry matters from inception to completion.
  • Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and third parties in a professional and sensitive manner.
  • Preparing and submitting applications for Confirmation.
  • Collecting and distributing estate assets, settling liabilities, and preparing estate accounts.
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence related to estate administration.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all cases.
  • Providing support and advice to clients, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Working collaboratively with solicitors and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and best practices in estate administration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal, specifically within executry/estate administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • Knowledge of Scottish legal procedures related to executry is essential.
