Engineer components using NC programming carrying out the verification of various components on all CNC machines using hands on experience and practical application as and when required.
React to shop floor requirements in a timely manner including provide problem solving support to minimise production downtime.
Actively support and contribute to the continuous improvement programme and lean manufacturing whilst continually reviewing working practices to remove and reduce waste and non-value adding activities . Work in a safe manner complying with all risk assessments and procedures in line with company Health and Safety policy, taking a responsible approach to health & safety in relation to your own job role and to report any concerns to management as appropriate.
Academic:
~ Advanced MasterCam and Vericut simulation software essential, experience of Catia V5 Programming, other CAD / CAM software beneficial
PC skills, Microsoft Office.

Project management
Ability to work on own initiative and to coach and mentor more junior engineers.
