Democratic Services Officer

Our client, a Local Authority based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Democratic Services Officer on a locum basis for 2 months. If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and the daily rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Servicing meetings of various Committees, Panels, Working Parties and other meetings by the electronic preparation of agendas, reports and minutes
  • Attending meetings assigned and taking notes
  • Undertaking work arising from meetings assigned, including correspondence, reports and liaison with officers of other departments and outside bodies in implementing decisions of meetings
  • Indexing Council, Cabinet, Panel and committee minutes, and maintaining various Registers
  • Supervising the procedure for the opening of tenders by Chairmen of the appropriate Committee or Panel
Rewards and Benefits: • Remote working, with attendance required at Committees Working hours:
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
