Shift: 7.30am – 4.Permanent Position
This is an excellent opportunity for a Lab Technician to join an established engineering business in the Stonehouse.
This market leading engineering company operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and oil & gas.
Organise and undertake the day to day running of the metallurgical laboratory
Microscopy Metallurgical inspection, Microhardness testing, bend testing, tensile testing and micro sampling
Analyse and monitor lab data
Produce laboratory reports
Review and control Lab test procedures against latest revisions of customer specifications
Ensure Laboratory testing equipment are controlled and calibrated machines are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations
Conduct pressure testing of coated samples and customer products
Previous laboratory experience
Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
Life Assurance – 2x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension.
Free parking on all sites
An entitlement to full pay whilst off sick for a limited number of days (in addition to your statutory sick pay entitlement)
