PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer:
Our client is a global manufacturing company whose UK site is based in Surrey and their head office in Germany. They are looking for a PLC Programmer to work directly at one of their customer's sites (south of Manchester) on a large project.
Training on the products will be at their main site in Germany. 5 hours a week however overtime is paid as well as a fee for every overnight stay. Our client also offers a company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, medical insurance and a company car / car allowance.
Implementation and documentation of software tests for programs
* Analyze problems and troubleshoot issues remotely or at customer's sites
* Degree in Electronic / Automation Engineering
* Relevant industrial experience in an automation role, ideally in the pharmaceutical/ medical device industry
* Good working knowledge of PLC programming, especially 1st Schneider and 2nd Rockwell (allen Bradley)Schneider and Codesys, or other PLC systems
* Good written and spoken English language skills is required.
* German language skills not essential but advantageous.
* Willingness to travel worldwide up to 150 days / year
