Ecommerce Manager - Full-time / On-site / Leicester

My client is seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in innovative products and brands. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrate a strong passion for team sports and our product categories.

As an Ecommerce Manager, you will have both internal and external responsibilities, collaborating with their partner agencies, brands, and internal teams. You will oversee the commercial success of all ecommerce channels. Your role will also involve coaching administrative staff within the ecommerce team, coordinating with agencies on projects, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal results.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales through daily website updates, promotions, price changes, asset management, product merchandising, page creation, and content updates.
  • Report daily/weekly on performance against key site metrics and KPIs.
  • Manage the ecommerce function and execute various tasks as needed.
  • Manage online activity for traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and reporting.
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing page development.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns and marketing databases.
  • Monitor online performance of site storefronts.
  • Report and analyse key metrics to drive CTR and conversion rate.

Qualifications:

  • The right candidate will be versatile and a sports enthusiast.
  • They will be a team player and able to work in an exciting, changing, and fast-paced environment.
  • They should be excited about working with Shopify Plus and some of the largest sports brands in the world.
  • Previous Ecommerce/Marketing experience in a similar role
  • Website management experience using Shopify or similar
  • Basic understanding of coding within Shopify
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in online merchandising and awareness of the marketing Ps
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media.
