As a Senior ServiceNow Developer (Level IV) at Rackspace Technology, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. This position is crucial for optimizing business processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall user experience within organizations. You will be one of the technical design leads for ServiceNow code and architecture, and work with key business units and process managers in order to build solutions and processes, supporting maintenance, continual service improvement, and new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. Discover your inner Racker Responsibilities Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and components to meet specific business requirements aligned with Rackspace's cloud solutions Design and implement workflows, automation, and business processes using the ServiceNow Workflow Editor, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub, ensuring seamless integration with customer's cloud infrastructure Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency, especially in the context of diverse cloud environments Write and maintain server-side and client-side scripts to enhance and customize ServiceNow functionality in alignment with the technological ecosystem Create user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces (UI) within the ServiceNow platform, tailored to the unique needs of Rackspace's clients for a positive end-user experience Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards that provide insights and monitor key performance indicators relevant to Rackspace's cloud services Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance problems within the ServiceNow platform, contributing to the reliability and efficiency cloud solutions Create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and workflows, adhering to Rackspace's documentation standards Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and apply platform upgrades and enhancements Adhere to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards Provide training and support to end-users and administrators, ensuring effective use of the ServiceNow platform Support upgrades, patches, and deployments in alignment with best practices Attend site on occasions for team building/customer meetings Collaborate with architects, administrators, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Requirements ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are often preferred Configuration Management Experience (CMDB data model and relationships)7+ years of ServiceNow hands-on experience in designing, developing and delivering ITSM ServiceNow integration experience (REST APIs, SOAP, Remote tables, Integration Hub) Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, server- and client-side scripting) Expertise in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Contract Management, Service Catalog, Reporting Modules Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its architecture, and modules Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies Experience with ITSM, ITIL, and knowledge of IT service management processes Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesUnderstanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and platform architecture Must have eligibility to work in the UK, within UK Secure environments
