Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy are looking to make a permanent appointment to their dynamic and innovative Senior Leadership Team.
We are an oversubscribed school with 850 students from ages 11 to 19 on role. We have a strong reputation in the local area and offer a wonderful place to learn, work, play and pray.

There are 3 distinct roles fulfilled by our Assistant Headteachers to continually develop our 'Quality of Education', there are Behaviour and Attitudes; Teaching and Learning; and Personal Development. To support the ongoing professional development of colleagues, roles fulfilled by the Assistant Headteacher will normally rotate every 2 years. Christ the King is based in Arnold and serves a wide geographical area from Hucknall to Carlton and parts of the city of Nottingham along with the local areas of Arnold and Woodthorpe around the school. We were judged ‘outstanding’ in our latest Diocesan Canonical inspection for the areas of Catholic Life and Mission and Collective worship, and we are currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust , bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
