We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Sales Negotiator to join our flagship Davis Street office located in Mayfair. This is an excellent opportunity for a negotiator looking to build a career in one of the UK’s most lucrative luxury real estate markets. Carter Jonas, with its affiliation with Christies International Real Estate and the world-renowned auction house is looking to build it’s market share in the super prime luxury market and you will be entrusted with handling some of the finest and highest vale sales in the market. You will be required to be able to effectively communicate with and advise high net worth clients and their representatives.

Main tasks:

  • Register new buyers, identifying business opportunities locally, nationally and internationally from them.
  • Maintain appropriately regular contact with buyer database to introduce them to Carter Jonas instruction and those of other Agencies via Lonres and other personal relationships. 
  • Maintain regular contact with CJ instructions to manage the stock list and ensure it is at saleable levels
  • Maintain contact with previous clients and CJ contacts to identify new business opportunities and ask for referrals
  • Assist the Head of Sales to convert appraisals to sales instructions
  • Arrange viewing appointments, market appraisals, and negotiate offers
  • Give viewing feedback to vendors 
  • Prepare mail out and talking to prospective purchasers at the beginning of marketing of a new property
  • Identify new marketing opportunities to promote Carter Jonas
  • Contribute to general running and profitability of the sales department

What will it take to be successful?

To be successful in this role, you’ll have strong customer/client service skills, be experienced in the residential sales market and have strong negotiations skills. You’ll also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid administrative and organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You’ll be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills, IT literate and comfortable working with databases and relevant software.
