Cloud Engineering Lead

As a Lead Software Engineer in the Public Cloud Engineering team, you will play a key role in enhancing, building, and delivering trusted technology products. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials
Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new and leading-edge technologies
Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Cloud engineering experience in provisioning resources in Google Cloud Platform or AWS
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within cloud engineering (GCP, AWS)
Practical cloud native experience on GCP and/or AWS
In-depth knowledge of financial services industry and IT systems
