The role

We are seeking a senior front-end developer to work with our talented team of researchers and software engineers, and play a leading role in building the products on top of our state-of-the-art AI technology.

We are looking for people with expertise in front-end development. This includes experience with web frameworks such as Vue.js and RESTful APIs. An interest in, and knowledge of machine learning and Natural Language Processing would be an advantage but is not essential. This role will give you the opportunity to be exposed to them.

  • Contribute to the technical design and implementation of products.
  • Participate in code reviews and help raise the technical bar company-wide
  • Help with feature breakdown and task estimation.
  • Ensure our software remains at world-class quality in terms of code quality, maintainability, security, performance.
About you

You will be comfortable working in a high energy B2B scale-up. Most importantly, you must love what you do and have a passion to push the boundaries whilst having fun. You will be ambitious and driven. Mediocrity isn’t acceptable either from you or those around you. You are confident but also self-aware and look to your peers to help you improve.

Essential skills and experience
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 4+ years commercial experience in front-end development including at least one web development framework. Preferably experience with the Vue.js framework.
  • Experience with product ownership in terms of UI/UX.

Any of the following will be an advantage:

  • Experience with interactive data visualisation for web applications (such as D3).
  • Experience with backend development and in particular Python/Django
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
