Job Title: Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer Location: Tewkesbury Competitive SalaryContract Type: PermanentMy client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in the Tewkesbury area currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer to work within a extremely technical supplier engineer position.The right candidate will have strong design experience of mechanical and hydraulic components and processes and be able to dissect an engineering drawing down to the highest of detail.This role will involve some travel to meet with suppliers both inside the UK and overseas.The successful candidate must have right to work within the UKKey Responsibilities – Senior Mechanical NPI EngineerWorking closely with suppliers help solve complex mechanical engineering problemsProvide technical project management working between the business and the IP suppliersManaging budget to ensure the project is on budget and scheduleResolve technical issues between the IP supplier and the businessReview of IP suppliers design and development processesMain technical point of contact between he supplier and the businessSome travel within the UK and abroad when neededAbility to read complex engineering and technical drawings to the highest levelQualifications & Requirements – Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer Degree in mechanical engineer or master’s in mechanical engineeringMinimum of 5 years industry experienceStrong Design ExperienceWhat we can offer – Senior Mechanical NPI EngineerCompany PensionPrivate Healthcare33 Days Annual Leave Free ParkingEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee share optionFor more information on this role, please contact Arun Picon on (phone number removed) or send a copy of your CV to Candidates who are currently a Senior Mechanical Engineer or a mechanical engineer, senior design engineer or design engineer, Senior manufacturing engineer, manufacturing engineer, NPI Engineer, Product Engineer, may be suitable for this role.
