The Finance Business Partner role reports to the Finance Manager – Revenue and WIP and is part of the Lemongrass Finance Team. This job description reflects the essential functions of the Finance business partner role; it does not prescribe or restrict responsibilities that may be assigned. As a small company, the Lemongrass Finance team will work and co-operate closely and assigned tasks may vary from the key elements of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Finance lead in the Sales win review process, challenging sales assumptions and contract T&C’s.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Sales and Delivery teams ensuring correct set up and support the financial management of engagements.
  • Monitor specific engagement profitability and identify and coordinate the resolution of issues
  • Provide pro-active advice to project management delivery team to increase profitability of engagements
  • Accurate and timely production of customer invoices and fees.
  • Work with Lemongrass Finance team to manage all elements of the financial close cycle
  • Escalate any issues that require resolution to the Lemongrass Finance Business Partner.

Qualifications

  • Professional Accounting Accreditation (i.e. CIMA, ACCA)
  • Understanding of local statutory requirements
  • Knowledge of Revenue recognition accounting US GAAP (ASC606) and UK GAAP (FRS102)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish key relationships with a number of stakeholders
  • Flexible approach and ability to operate across all levels of Finance delivery
  • Ability to flex hours during periods of high demand. e.g. month end accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Strong Excel skills
